RECOGNISING LYME DISEASE
An infectious disease caused by bacteria transmitted by tick bites. Symptoms: Redness Fatigue Fever Headache Stiffness in the neck Muscle and joint pain If you have the following symptoms, call Info-Santé at or consult a doctor Lyme disease is treatable! 2

Preventative measures
May to October Long and light colored clothing Mosquito repellent (DEET ou icaridine) Stay on the trail Take a shower Inspect your body after a walk in risk areas 8
