4. 2015 – 2016 Activities Highlights for 2015
The establishment and presentation of the First Pope Francis Mission Award.
The successful search for an Executive Director for the Association.

5. About the Board of Directors
The association is governed by a 15 member Board of Directors. It meets face to face twice a year; in the Spring in Washington, DC as guests of the Missionaries of Mary Immaculate and after the annual conference.
The Board of Directors has four committees; the Executive Committee is composed of the Officers of the Association and acts in the absence of the full board; Finance and Development which includes membership, development, and the annual budget; Programming which includes all membership services, association programs and member recognition; and Procedures which oversees nominations to the Board, strategic planning, the membership meeting, policies and procedures, and stewardship of the bylaws.
Interested members are welcome to volunteer on one of the Board Committees.

There are three members of the Board of Directors up for re-election:

Nominations are still open until August 19th.
The Procedures Committee will finalize the slate of candidates by August 31st. Voting begins on September 6th and concludes on September 16th. The election results will be announced September 21, 2016.
