About the Board of Directors
The association is governed by a 15 member Board of Directors. It meets face to face twice a year; in the Spring in Washington, DC as guests of the Missionaries of Mary Immaculate and after the annual conference. The Board of Directors has four committees; the Executive Committee is composed of the Officers of the Association and acts in the absence of the full board; Finance and Development which includes membership, development, and the annual budget; Programming which includes all membership services, association programs and member recognition; and Procedures which oversees nominations to the Board, strategic planning, the membership meeting, policies and procedures, and stewardship of the bylaws. Interested members are welcome to volunteer on one of the Board Committees.
