Accomplishments:
Became acquainted with Dr. Turgut, my mentor, and my project direction
Fully read and summarized 3 research papers involving Omar and Dr. Zou’s work on Wifi Security
Watched 1 Defcon presentation and read its PowerPoint further
Installed Kali (Linux Distribution used for security testing)

Granting access to wireless network is in-progress
Problems installing Kali
Solution to install Kali:
Used research with trial and error to solve
Was already using the max of 4 primary partitions for 2 OS (Windows, OpenSuse)
Deleted windows bootloader (I was using Grub anyway) to make room
Installed Kali
My previous OS, OpenSuse and Windows, were missing now (1 OS in boot record)

Granting access to wireless network is in-progress
Problems installing Kali
Solution to install Kali:
Configured Grub via command line to find OpenSuse
Windows missing still (2 OS in boot record)
Used command line via windows recovery tool to install windows bootloader
(3 OS in boot record, but only Windows is bootable)
Used boot-repair tool to reinstall Grub. (3 OS, all bootable. All set!)
Manually repaired boot files to significantly speed up booting
