AS and A-levels have been separated
A-levels have increased in content and AS-levels have become a down- graded stand-alone qualification
Princethorpe College students study three A-levels
Universities and employers do not favour additional AS levels but they do look for evidence of other skills and characteristics

Our admissions requirements
Minimum academic requirement is six GCSEs grades A* – C (9 – 5), including at least three B (6) grades or equivalent.
Candidates will normally have at least grade B (6) in subjects to be studied to A-level, but it is necessary to have at least a grade A (7) in:
Mathematics
Latin
Modern Foreign Languages
Sciences
Check each subject for specific requirements
