-We will compare different versions of the same story in traditional and contemporary folktales with respect
to their characters, setting, and plot.

-We will read and determine the meaning of words using prefixes and suffixes.
Math
-We will add up to four two-digit numbers, add and subtract three digit numbers, using mental strategies and algorithms based on knowledge of place value and properties of operations.
-We will solve and generate one-step and multistep word problems involving addition and subtraction within 1000 using a variety of strategies .based on place value, including algorithm.
Social Studies
-We will identify citizens like Thurgood Marshall, Irma Rangel, John

-We will Identify governmental services and explain their value
to the community.
