Distribution
Elf Owls live in hot desert and some times found in woodland forest regions. They make their homes in mountain ranges, canyons, and ravines. They also live in Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, and California.
Food
Elf Owls eat mostly small birds
and lizards. And they eat insects like crickets, scorpions, moths, centipedes, and beetles.
Behavior
Elf Owls make sounds like squeaks that are high pitched.
