2. We have different ways to talk about the future.

3. Present continuous
We use it to talk about the future that will happen soon

4. In affirmative sentences:
I am buying a new book tomorrow. She is dancing with her friends tonight. You are working next Monday.

5. In negative sentences:
I am not buying a new book tomorrow. She is not dancing with her friends tonight. You are not working next Monday.

6. In interrogative sentences:
Am I buying a new book tomorrow? Is she dancing with her friends tonight? Are you working next Monday?

7. It is possible to use interrogative pronous:
When am I buying a new book? Where is she dancing tonight? Why are you working next Monday?

8. Simple present
We use it to talk about routines in the future

9. In affirmative sentences:
The supermarket opens at 4:00pm. The buses arrive in the garage at 9:00pm.

10. In negative sentences:
The supermarket doesn’t open at 4:00pm. The buses don’t arrive in the garage at 9:00pm.

11. In interrogative sentences:
Does the supermarket open at 4:00pm? Do the buses arrive in the garage at 9:00pm?

12. Using interrogative pronouns:
What time does the supermarket open? Why do the buses arrive in the garage at 9:00pm?

13. Be going to
We use it to talk about the near future, when you know what is going to happen
There is some kind of evidence that something is going to happen

14. In affirmative sentences:
We are going to sell the car tomorrow. She is going to get good grades this term.

15. In negative sentences:
We are not going to sell the car tomorrow. She is not going to get good grades this term.

16. In interrogative sentences:
Are we going to sell the car tomorrow? Is she going to get good grades this term?

17. Using interrogative pronouns:
When are we going to sell the car? Why is she going to get good grades this term?

18. Will We use it to talk about the far future
We use it when we make a promise

19. In affirmative sentences:
I will exercise a lot next year. She will start a new course.

20. In negative sentences:
I will not exercise a lot next year. She will not start a new course.

21. In interrogative sentences:
Will you exercise a lot next year? Will she start a new course?

22. Using interrogative pronouns:
Where will you exercise next year? When will she start a new course?
