Five parts to the curriculum:
Leader’s Handbook Early Years Younger Years Middle Years Older Years Six sessions: Start, Think, Identify, Support, Speak Out, Take Action Voices against Violence comes in five parts – Leader’s Handbook, Early, Younger, Middle and Older… runs from ages 5 – 26. Leader’s Handbook is available online, the others are gained through training and a pathways to delivery process to uphold our duty of care to the young people taking part by ensuring the correct messaging is being used, and the activities are being run safely. START to develop a supportive space for children and young people; talk about gender equality and violence against girls and young women. THINK about what it is to be a girl or a boy. Understand gender inequality and discrimination and promote equality. IDENTIFY violence against women and girls. Understand forms of violence against women and girls particularly the forms of violence relevant in your own community. SUPPORT respectful relationships. Develop skills to form relationships and support friends. SPEAK OUT for girls’ rights. Increase awareness of women’s and girls’ human rights. TAKE ACTION to stop the violence. Develop and run a campaign event or activity to raise awareness to stop violence against girls and young women. Join the global campaign to stop violence against women and girls.
