Useful Tips Children should never give out personal details, such as address or phone number. They should not 'friend' people they do not know. Never agree to meet someone you have met online. Don't be afraid to stop your children using these sites until you think they are old enough to use them. You need to be 13 for a Facebook account.

Set privacy settings high, so that no one can look at your online pages unless you want them to.
Don’t be afraid to check what sites your children are using. Have them in the same room as you so that you can see what they’re up to!
