1970—Two Upper Midwest Industries (UMI) employees designed, developed, and marketed a steel cash drawer
2015—APG Cash Drawer and Cash Bases merged creating a world-class cash drawer technology company
1978—APG was born and had 10 employees, leasing a 7,000 square foot space in Brooklyn Center, MN
1993—APG moved to a 40,000 square foot building owned by UMI Corporation with sister company Atlas Manufacturing
2008—APG Management team and private investors became APG Cash Drawer, LLC
2012—Minnesota Cash Drawer Equipment Co. established in Shanghai, China
2014—APG Cash Drawer GmbH and Co KG established in Hilden, Germany with configuration center for quick response across EMEA
