2. Start of Class……
When you enter the room, find your seat quietly. If you need your pencil sharpened do it BEFORE class starts.
Take out your agendas and copy the LEARNING TARGET for the day. **Located on the board up front!
Once you are finished copying your learning target, get out your homework and have it sitting out on your desk… turned to the page…. And wait quietly for me to come and check!!!

3. Turning In/ Passing Back work
Papers will be turned in to the black trays in the front of the class on top of the filing cabinet. Make sure you put your paper in the right period!!!!
If there are papers I need to pass back, I will choose a student to pass them back. Once you get your papers….. Look at your grade and ask questions if you need to because I am taking them BACK UP!!!!

4. What if I need something during class?
You are responsible for bringing all materials to class.
Interactive Notebooks will be stored in the back of the room in a basket labeled by the class period.
If you need to borrow a pencil please ask! Scrap paper will also be available.
If we need supplies such as glue, markers, color pencils, scissors, etc., I will choose someone who will collect and return these to the book shelf. If you bring your own supplies and would like to keep them in class, I will be glad to store them for you.
My pencils need to be returned at the end of class (unless you talk to me about needing one all day first)

5. What if I’m absent?
At the “Were You Absent?” table, I will have a container with folders labeled #1-31. The numbers represent the day of the month.
If there is something you need to make up, there will be an assignment with your name on it in the designated folder with the number of the day you were absent. Example: If you were absent on September 15th, you will look in folder #15.
These folders will renew each month.
It is your responsibility to retrieve the work and make it up in a timely manner.

6. What do I need for this class?
You will need a pencil and loose notebook paper everyday for your own personal use.
You will need a 3 subject spiral notebook to use as your interactive notebook. This will last you the whole year. ** IAN’s will be stored in the classroom.
You may bring in extra glue sticks, markers, or colored pencils to DONATE to the class supply box.

7. End of Class Procedure
I will do my best to give you time to clean up/pack up everyday.
All borrowed materials need to be returned, and trash will need to be picked up.
Desks will also need to be straightened.
Everyone needs to be in their seat when the bell rings in order to be dismissed.
