2. Tips for class Noise minimisers
To get the student’s attention, call their name, or a wave of the arm, if they are facing you
Keep the rhythm of speech, but slow down slightly
When addressing the student, ensure eye level contact
If a sentence is not understood, try using a visual representation
When addressing the class, make sure the student can see your face
