1. Each local church should ask herself… “Are we pleasing as a bride of Christ?”

He loved her
He gave Himself for her
He sanctified her
He cleansed her with the washing of water by the word
He desires to present her to Himself

4. What The Church Should Do For Jesus
She should be “glorious” (illustrious, honorable, esteemed)
She should have “no spot or wrinkle” (anything that detracts from her beauty or
mars her appearance as a bride)

5. What The Church Should Do For Jesus
She should be “holy” (sacred, prepared to serve God in an
esteemed capacity)
She should be “without blemish” (free from anything for which she can be
blamed for wrongdoing)

6. Each local church can be such a “bride for Christ” to the extent her individual members keep themselves from the world & sin.

7. Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God?
Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God.
