Inside your child’s green folder is their behavior chart, please make sure to sign it each night.
Inside your child’s green folder is a copy of their sight words for the entire year. We are working on List 1 now. If your child has already mastered that list please move on the next list of words. Thank you!
We are still reviewing content from last year (letters, sounds, numbers, writing our names, etc.) and getting adjusted to 1st grade.
We will begin testing this week with Fountas and Pinnell (reading test) and SNAP (math test).
These tests will help us to meet the kids where they are and teach them what they need to know.
We also use these screeners to see who will need extra help (intervention).
August 23rd- Picture Day! Wear your smile!!
Next week we will begin our core curriculum in Math and Reading.
