Door to door collected wastes in the plastic buckets are transferred to municipal lorries at a fixed time. No storage facilities is required for small towns.

Aerobic digestion method of composting is followed for production of compost. The Municipality manure was tested in Coimbatore Govt. Agri. Chemist, Fertilizer Project, Coimbatore-13. Test Report details: Moisture : 6.60 Nitrogen : 0.60 Phosphrous : 0.47 Potash : 0.39 Quality : Average
