2. Hydraulic Action
In Hydraulic Action the pebbles have an angular shape.
Hydraulic Action is when waves force water into cracks in the rock. This helps to break it.
It is the reason for a rock to fall from the cliff.

3. Abrasion Abrasion makes pebbles smoother and more rounded.
Abrasion is when the waves throw sand and pebbles against the rock. They wear it away like sandpaper.

4. Attrition Attrition makes pebbles smaller until they become sand.
Attrition is when chunks of rock get knocked together and worn into smaller bits. They end up as shingle and sand.

5. Solution
Solution makes holes on the surface of pebbles made of limestone or chalk, which are the white rocks.
Solution is when sea water is slightly acidic and dissolves soluble material from the rock.
