Academic Responsibilities
Completing homework - finish all HW at home before coming to school Taking notes - you must be writing/typing your class notes not taking pictures of the board Doing assigned reading thoughtfully and carefully Using extra help and peer tutoring Offered every day either by your teachers or in guidance Being healthy Eat well- breakfast, lunch, and dinner (not just cookies for lunch) Sleep - Students should be getting a minimum of 8 hours Relax - whatever that is for you:) Exercise

Avoiding Distraction Your iPad should be used for your academic activities, not social activities. During HW time use your iPad for HW Use your phone or computer for social media when your HW is complete

Acceptable Use Policy at Prep (AUP)
Full Policy can be found on the SFP website: SFP takes these matters seriously, and has a NO tolerance policy for any infractions of the AUP. Web Postings Policy: Students who have personal social network accounts do not have the right to bring harm to or damage the reputation of the school or any individual in or related to St. Francis Prep. NO Tolerance policy

Academic Honesty One of the Golden Links of Franciscan Education- To make responsible decisions in all aspects of your lives. Do your own HW, copying homework is unacceptable Honor Code - Students at St. Francis Prep commit themselves to honesty in all their academic work. Academic dishonesty (cheating) is taking credit for work that is not one’s own. Cheating includes, but is not limited to, the following items: • giving or receiving aid on an exam or attempting to do so • copying homework • not documenting sources (including use of the Internet) • plagiarism • getting the answers for a test in advance • forgery • misusing calculators • taking photos of any academic documents

Themes Justice Respect Compassion Judgment Community Commitment Honesty Be Living Instruments of Peace Live Lovingly Fit certain aspects of today's presentations into themes Airdrop/sharing files Honor Code Plagiarism Distractions/notifications Time management All projects will require the students to present the material using one form of media (Keynote, iMovie, Explain Everything, etc.) Exact details will be provided by your Religion teacher
