And it is my mission to strengthen our relationships and our pipeline through the PCI, Collegiate, and Professional levels. The professionals are a valuable asset to the region. They have been through what we have been through and are currently in positions (employed) that we want to be in. It is important that we don’t just ask them for money or services, but to build a strong mentoring relationship with them that will last.  *

13 Adopt-A-Chapter Goal: How:
To provide the pre-existing NSBE Jr. Membership with positive STEM focused role models to assist and inspire them to excel in STEM and in life. How: Each chapter will be given a list of chapters in their area. Find the chapter that suits you best. If a chapter is not in your area found one. Form an Adoption Contract with the chapter. 1st make sure their active; encourage collegiate to reach out (not to ask for money but to come speak at their chapter and share their experiences and get some advice). *

14 Retention Program Purpose: to improve the four year and five year graduation rates of Blacks in the field of engineering. Active Chapters SUCCESS! Another one of our focus this year is.. All active chapters are eligible. If steps are followed, there will be success! *
