What made them unique The middle colonies are good for farming, wig makers, and logging. New England is really good for fishing, trapping, ship building, whaling. The southern colonies are good for rice, indigo, tobacco, and cotton.

Thomas Jefferson helped Write the Declaration of Independence. Benjamin Franklin was the inventor of the lighting rod. John Adams was the second president.
