The League Games will be held Monday and Wednesday Nights
Starting at 7, can go as late as 11 Scheduled every 45 minutes Schedule is through IMLeagues.com Please add players to roster before the season starts! Roster will lock after the last regular season game. Anyone not on the roster for playoffs will not be eligible to play All Games will be played at the Student Recreation Center

The Game Two, 15 minute halves 6 on 6 (5 + a Goalie)
Running clock until the last two minutes of the game 1 timeout per game No Overtime in Regular Season Playoffs: 3 minute golden goal followed by penalty kicks 6 on 6 (5 + a Goalie) Goals count as 1 point, regardless of gender CoRec Rule: At least 2 of each gender on the court at all times Mercy Rule: When a team is up by 6 goals with 5 minutes remaining in the game 2 Officials per game Please show them respect, they are here to serve you! No Jewelry

Showing Up Game Time is Forfeit Time
5 minute Grace Period Sign in with Student Supervisor. Must show TCNJ ID when signing in! Pinnies can be retrieved from equipment manager. Must check out equipment with TCNJ ID Make sure to record players numbers We have many games that need to be played, the quicker we can get started, the better

Soccer Rules Substitutions on the fly Must wear sneakers Futsol ball
Exception: Goalie. Must wait for dead ball to change goalies. Must alert official first Goalie wears a different color Must wear sneakers Futsol ball Any part of the ceiling/superstructure is out of bounds Indirect Free Kick from spot If ball gets stuck along green nets, out of bounds

Additional Soccer Rules
No offside is in effect For a goal to count, the ball must completely cross over the goal line Shin guards are not required but highly recommended

Fouls Players may not kick, trip, hold, push, or strike each other in order to gain an advantage Will result in a foul, possibly accompanied with a yellow/red card 2 yellows = 1 red, 1 red = ejection Player may not participate in “Dangerous Plays” Any intentional defensive handball in the goalie box will result in a penalty kick

Penalty Kicks Any defensive foul committed inside the goalie box will result in a Penalty Kick Ball will be placed at half-court spot Goalie must stay in the box until the ball is kicked Players will have 5 seconds to shot the ball after initiating their movement If Goalie commits a penalty, the kick can be re-taken If offense commits a penalty, the penalty kick is dismissed Other players must remain behind Midcourt line until ball is kicked Results: Goal, corner kick, or goal kick

Goalie Rules Goalie box will be taped off
Goalie has 10 seconds to play the ball after picking it up Can either throw it, or drop it and play with feet Penalty: Indirect Free Kick from half-court line After dropping the ball, can not pick it back up until touched by another player No one is allowed in box if Goalie has the ball in his/her hands Goalie Kick. Possible card. Goalie can not: Punt or drop-kick ball Pick up the ball if passed from a teammate Throw the ball in the air over half court Penalty: Indirect Free Kick from half court

Sportsmanship GPA Scale 0-4 Score recorded for every game
Forfeit = 0 Default has no impact 2 Forfeits = kicked out of league. 2 Defaults = 1 forfeit Unsporting behavior, cards, anything that may have negatively effected the game. Teams need avg. score of 2.75 to be eligible for the playoffs Show up, have fun, be respectful to players and officials
