Strength Excellent Infrastructure with Smart Classroom, Seminar Hall, Auditorium etc. Excellent Library & Reading Room Facility Availability of various Batches for Coaching Early Morning & Evening Batches Weekend Classes Day Scholar Batches for Executive Another centre in South Bangalore Sunday Study Circle Meetings conducted for Free Existence of MOOT ACADEMY – Under which Special workshops for students on representing before NCLT/NCLAT are conducted Special Induction and Guidance Programmes to Newly Registered Students conducted frequently Training Melas for Students Existence of Expert Committee which plans programmes for Student for their skill & technical knowledge Development etc. Weakness Unable to target more number of schools and colleges in rural areas due to lack of staff Opportunity More number of students in both urban & rural areas Students undergoing Law Threat Quality of Students registering for the course lack of good communication skills – Due to which students are unable to flair in the course hence discontinuing the course in between Availability of fancy courses like MBA/ PGDBM etc. student incline more towards such course which are less time consuming and easy to clear comparatively. Company Secretaries getting into employment for lesser packages

4 Strategy to Increase Registrations
Career Awareness Programmes at Colleges MOU with all the top universities/colleges in the cities/regions, and can introduce a mandatory new course structure such as B.Com + CS, BBM + CS, M.Com + CS ( Inviting all VC’s for interaction) On spot registrations at Chapter Counters implementation of Card Payment system at Chapters and regions for facilitating Students to enhance ease of payments To introduce KIOSK (Computer facility with internet - at least 2nos ) at Chapter to help rural students specifically to do registration on their own and also to access internet for browsing education related sites; payment of exam fee; downloading ID Card etc. By conducting social events like Marathon; Walkathon for cause like CSR; Corporate Governance etc. By introducing certain minimum no. of Programmes to be conducted by Chapters mandatorily in association with Colleges for faculty of Commerce hence helping in branding ICSI Registration Mela at all the Universities/Colleges Branding of CS Course in National Television Channels and Radio Channels (print and electronic media) Highlighting the role of CS by way of articles from successful Company Secretaries PAN India and to be published in ICSI Website. To encourage women members to be the Directors in Board, so that they can be of motivation to the newly registered students Steps already taken Steps to be taken Conducted one programme with SSMRV College for Commerce Faculty, which was attended by 200 Faculty Members. Initiated talks with Christ University for conducting one more mass registration campaign at their university in the month of June Gathered database of all the colleges affiliated under Bangalore University for Career Awareness Programmes Calling all the colleges for Career Awareness Programmes Conducting Career Awareness Programmes at rural areas Contacting reputed universities, seeking permission to conduct faculty orientation programmes About CS Course in National Television/Radio Channels
