2. Step 1: What version?
You first need to determine the current version and build of DentalEye. In the menu, click on ”Help” and choose ”About DentalEye”.

3. Step 2: Version & Build
In the lower right corner the version and build are mentioned.
In this case: , where 3.0 is the version and 471 is the build.

4. Step 3: Internet
The latest update for DentalEye is published on our website:
Go to Support, download, where you will find the link to the updateprogram. Current version and build are also mentioned here.

5. Step 4: Download
Click on the link ”download” to download the updateprogram. If you wish, you can register your name and so we can notify you of coming updates and other news. The file is approx. 2Mb in size.
If you wish to save the file to floppydisks you will need to download the diskettversion. The updateprogram is split in two parts; part 1 and part 2.
It takes about 5 to 15 minutes to download depending on the speed of your internetconnection.

6. Step 5: Save the file
Choose to save the file on the local harddisk (C: or D:)
When you´ve choosen the diskettversion, you can save directly to A:
If you need to update several workstations in a network, it might be practical to save the file on a shared location in the network. Ask your system administrator if you´re unsure about how to do this.

7. Step 6: Run the update Make sure DentalEye is not running!
In Explorer, start the updateprogram by doubleclicking DE30update.exe

8. Step 7: The update The updateprogram starts. Click ”next” to continue.

9. Step 8: Copying files
The updateprogram copies the updated version and new systemfiles.

10. Step 9: Finish When the update is done, click on ”Finish”.
This will close the updateprogram.
In some cases a reboot is needed before you can use DentalEye again.
