2 Adversity (ad-ver-si-ty)
Definition: a difficult situation or condition : misfortune or tragedy Part of Speech: noun Word in context: “He showed courage in the face of adversity.”

3 Capacity (ca-pa-ci-ty)
Definition: the ability to do something Part of Speech: noun Word in context: “Some species of birds do not have the capacity [=ability] to fly.”

4 Cope (cope) Definition: to deal with problems and difficult situations and try to come up with solutions Part of Speech: verb Word in context: “The class has been difficult, but I'm learning to cope.”

5 stereotype (stereo-type)
Definition: an unfair and untrue belief that all people or things with a particular characteristic are the same Part of Speech: noun Word in context: “President Trump said stereotypes about immigrants during his presidential campaign.”

6 cite (cite) Definition: to mention (write) an example from a text to support an idea or opinion Part of Speech: verb Word in context: “Cathy cites examples from the article to show the main idea.”
