Barns have a lot of other animals living in them. Not just horses. A few are cows , chickens , and pigs.

You would usually would say that barns are red , but actually they can be brown and even gray. But you would usually see them as red.

7. The farmer
The farmer is in charge of the farm. They feed the animals , they also make sure the animals are healthy and growing.
Farmers can be boys and girls, they also have a big responsibility to care for the animals and treat them nicely.

8. The farmer’s house
The farmer lives in a house near the barn

9. Hay is for horses
Horses eat about 4 flakes a day. That is a lot of hay. That’s way more food then what you and I would usually eat per day.
