3 About Omi Growing up he loved listening to hip-hop
His passion of music came from his father that passed away when he was only 9 years old. He was influenced by many people; Sam Cooke, Nat King Cole, John Legend, and Tanya Stephens He started in the music industry in 2009, and his first hit single “Cheerleader” took 5 years to make an actual song. His songs are now Urban pop, and he likes to include “beachy” and “summertime” vibes He currently lives in Kingston, Jamaica and he is from Clarendon, Jamaica

The singer has a girlfriend, soon to be fiance In the song he says cheerleader referring to his girlfriend the “cheerleader” is who supports the singer and motivates him to do better at the things he does
