Elections happen every year, federal elections happen every 2 years (in the even year)
Federal Reps: every 2 years Federal Senators: every 6 years but in groups President: every 4 years

In 2014, 79% of the registered voters did not vote in the Primary Elections. That means 21% decided the outcome. Many times the makeup of the Legislature is pretty much determined at the Primary Election. Capital Times estimates that in 73 of the 90 state legislative districts who will represent that legislative district was determined in the Primary Election. That means 81% of State Representatives and State Senators have already been determined.

Arizona Presidential Preference Elections 2016
If you will be 18 on or before March 22, you can vote in the presidential preference election. You must register by February 22, 2016 You must register in the Republican Party to vote for Republican candidates, the Democratic Party to vote for the Democratic candidates, or the Green Party to vote for the Green Party candidates

Presidential General Election 2016
The general election is always held on the 1st Tuesday after the 1st Monday in November If you will be 18 on or before November 8, you can vote in the presidential election. You must register by October 10, 2016 You can register in any party or as an independent to vote in this election
