Model depicting the cycling of REP. REP binds a GDP-bound Rab and presents it to the catalytic Rab GGTα/β subunits. Upon geranylgeranylation, Rab GGT dissociates and the REP-Rab complex moves to a putative receptor which facilitates attachment of the prenylated Rab to the donor membrane.
