Rovi provides info for newspaper listings and interactive program guides
All parties require the data to be accurate two weeks out from broadcast

3. TRAC’s Carriage Data TRAC starts getting data 4 weeks out
Downloaded from Rovi each day
Weeks 4 -2 mass updating occurs
2 weeks up till broadcast – some updates still happen

4. 3 & 4 Weeks Out
Rovi creates that 4 week out data with the previous week’s schedule, so you will often find:
More plays of regularly scheduled series than will actually air
Fewer plays of specials and limited series than will actually air

5. What Can You Learn from Carriage?

Potential reach of the show
Who has added/dropped a show
% coverage of the US
