Done Every 5 Years ARC is facilitating our update Due June 2017 2 Public Meetings to date Feedback in 4 major areas: Land Use Community Facilities Transportation Economic Development

Land Use The Village Concept Preserve the natural environment
What is a Village in 2017? Should we redevelop some places? Annexation policy What’s in it for Me? Preserve the natural environment Preserved 3,766 acres; 26% of City Protect water quality Maintain our landscape and buffer requirements

Community Facilities Maintain our high quality of life
Multi-use trails, parks and community events Good schools Enhancing infrastructure (i.e. sewer, water, cell coverage, fiber, microcells, etc.)

Transportation Manage congestion

Economic Development Why do we do it? Quality of Life
Jobs & Investment Tax Digest Economic Development Maintain high quality of life Allow people to work in thei community in which they live Balance tax digest Attract and keep high paying jobs Provide continuing education opportunities
