Remember… Lenin’s last testament was very critical of Stalin.
He wanted it read out at the 12th Party Congress in April 1923 His wife, Krupskaya kept it secret hoping Lenin would recover and believing it could split the party After Lenin’s death she turned it over the Communist Party Central Committee (CC) The testament wasn’t published in full and read out to the party conference as Lenin intended…. So it didn’t have the intended effect!
