3. IAPP - Participants
A project under this scheme is realised by a strategic partnership of at least one participant from academia and at least one participant from the commercial sector coming from at least 2 different Member States and/or associated countries.
There is no predefined maximum number of participants. However under similar schemes in the past the most common number of participants was 2-3. Largest projects ranged from 4 to 6 participants. Past experience has shown that this is a manageable size.
Duration of funding for IAPP is 48 months from the start date of the grant agreement

4. IAPP 100% funded By EU Secondment Recruitment
Exchange of research staff
can be for early-stage researchers or experienced researchers (see definition in the previous section).
To be eligible for secondment, staff members of a participant must have been active (work, studies, etc.) continuously for at least one year (full-time equivalent) at the sending institution. Secondments may be split into several stays not exceeding 24 months in total

researchers must not have resided in the country of their host organisation for more than 12 months in the 3 years immediately

mono-partner networks are also possible under certain conditions (see point 2.4.). There is no predefined size for multi-partner networks. However, we strongly recommend that you keep the size of the consortium between 6 and 10 participants since past experience has shown that this is
a manageable size.

7. ITN – eligible researchers
The main aim of the ITN is the training of early-stage researchers (ESR) and it includes inter
alia training in the context of doctoral programmes.
As a general rule, early-stage researchers
must be recruited in significantly higher proportions compared with experienced researchers (ER).
Typically the share of ESR researcher months should be 100% but the minimum expected is
80%.
