Geography Burgas, Bulgaria is at 42°30'N, 27°29'E, 28 m. Burgas has a humid subtropical climate that is mild with no dry season, constantly moist (year-round rainfall).

The city is surrounded by the Burgas Lakes and located at the westernmost point of the Black Sea.

Climate & Temperature Summers are hot and muggy with thunderstorms. Winters are mild with precipitation from mid-latitude cyclones. Seasonality is moderate.

The months May, June, July, August and September have nice weather with a good average temperature.
On average, the warmest and driest month is August. On average, the coolest month is January. November is the wettest month. The average annual temperature is 12.4 degrees Celsius.

The agriculture function is one of the structures defining for the region.

The climate and soil conditions and the traditions in the agriculture have defined the specialty in the region of production of cereal culture (wheat and barley), sunflower, vine-growing, fruit-growing.
