Reading
We are reading nonfiction texts and identifying what the text structures are. In language we are reviewing ordering adjectives, adverbs and prepositional phrases.

Math
This week we are exploring fractions! We are adding, subtracting and finding the many names fractions have. Towards the end of the week we will discuss equivalent fractions.
Writing
We are organizing our persuasive pieces. This week we will draft a strong lead and start drafting the body!
Science
We are finishing up the first lesson on Electricity. Now we are diving into the second lesson on Energy and Tools! This chapter focuses on the six simple machines.
