Student K is a young adult. Her current level is A2. She is a mechanic engineer who works for a private enterprise. She usually skip classes because she says she constantly has last minute meeting in her place work. During classes she avoids communication and peer interaction. When the teacher asks her questions she blushes, and speaks in Spanish. She is constantly saying “disculpa no se como decirlo” and then she says nothing. However, she performs well during listening and writing assignments. She is able to structure her ideas and use appropriate language when writing. Also, she is capable of inferring and abstract information during reading and listening tasks. Intrigued, the teacher talked to her after classes, and she manifested she has always been afraid of speaking in English in public. She says she blocks completely when the teachers ask her questions, she forget the words because she is too afraid of making mistakes.
