3 AR Goals 9 weeks goals are set individually according to Star testing
End of the year goals Medal: 80 points T-shirt: 100 Points Trophy: 120 Points

4 Science Fair Thursday, November 17th
Packets will be sent home September 8th- 10 weeks to complete projects Check Thursday folders and class dojo for updates

5 Study Island/think through Math
Each child will be assigned a study island account to be used at home or school as well as think through math. Rewards will be earned in each program. Individually paced and specific to each child's area of concern/improvement.

6 Class Dojo If not already linked in, let your homeroom teacher know
Will send reminders and messages Points and messages can come from each teacher Sign photo release form- we can post pictures of students involved in class activities Questions? Need help setting up your app? Stay after

7 Camp classen April 24th-28th
We will have more detailed meetings throughout the year- watch for those Cost $250 per student, $200 per parent--- Will fundraise Will need 2 adults of same gender per cabin Questions can be Directed in to Ms. Holder and Mrs. Sullivan If we don’t know the answers immediately, we will find them and get back with you.

8 Parent involvement Very important to your child

9 Bullying and other issues
Consistent pattern of behavior is considered bullying Teachers have forms for students to fill out. if they feel they are being bullied they need to tell a teacher immediately Please bring deodorant to keep in your back pack for after recess Girls may carry a small purse

10 Homework Please have your child read nightly. Reading is Power! The more they read, the more they know. Any work not finished during the school day will be sent home for homework. It is unsual for a student to continually bring home work from that day, so this is a good indicator if your child is not staying on task while at school. Always look in your child’s binder for any homework. Homework should not take all night. Redo Papers will be coming home in Thursday folders and are due on Monday.
