Monday, Oct. 3rd- Apple Circle Time
Friday, Oct. 7th- Half Day of School- Dismissal 11:00 am
This week we will begin our month long theme of Fall Time Fun! This week during Circle Time we will explore the changes we see outside during the season of fall. We will sort leaves by shape and color. We will discuss how different fall foliage looks and feels (acorns, leaves, pinecones, pumpkin seeds etc.). The different fall foliage will then be incorporated into music time to create fall themed music shakers to enhance our daily music lessons.
Brown is the color of the week! Please dress your child in brown on Friday. The letter of
the week is N. We will learn a new Jolly Phonics
song to help us remember the sound for N!
Next Monday we will have a chance to taste different types of apples. If you’d prefer your
student not participate in this activity due to
allergies or any other reason, please let me
know prior to the morning of Monday, Oct. 2nd!
