Violating The Establishment Clause Of The First Amendment
"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion” So it’s wrong to establish a national religion by congress and to preference one religion over another.
3
Santa Fe School District
This school was described as a Christian school, so a student counselor member that was a chaplain (which is a priest a pastor) decided to do a prayer before a football game.
4
Doe A Mormon and a Catholic student along with their mothers filed a suit saying that the prayer done at the football game was not following the Establishment Clause Of The First Amendment. They remained as “Doe’s” so the media wouldn’t harass them.
5
Background Of The Case In Santa Fe School District they had made policy that they had voted on being able to pray in games and that a spokesman is allowed to deliver them.
6
Majority Opinion The Majority Opinion was that it was not something private but a public speech. It was under the supervision
7
Other Court Opinions Was that the majority's opinion was "bristles with hostility to all things religious in public life".

Reflection My reflection upon this case was I thought it was stupid just to bring a lawsuit just because of a prayer being done. I mean I can understand if an atheist objected because they don’t believe in God, but a Mormon and a Catholic do. So it’s just pretty done just suing for something they do themselves.
