1. PT Day of Service (PT DOS)
October 14th, 2017

2. Purpose
DPT/PTA students throughout the state will organize and participate in service events for PT DOS in October, 2017.
Goal: every district will have a service event organized by students.
from the PT DOS team:
“We are so excited to hear that the PPTA is starting to plan for PTDOS 2017 and looking to get your membership on board! This year PTDOS will be on October 14th and any event leading up to the day or within a week after will also count towards our official participation count.”

3. Timeline April: student ambassadors will be selected
May: contact via phone calls or s to student ambassadors about ideas for their service event.
June-July: reach out to check in on progress
August-September: student ambassadors will have service event organized
October: during the second week of October, there will be a meeting to discuss, inspire, and excite student ambassadors

5. T-Shirts/Future Suggestions
PT DOS team sells T-shirts to be worn on date of service event (or wear school T- shirt)
In 2016, proceeds from the T-shirt go to Move Together, inc
Suggestion: web site recognition of the day; create a sustainable model for PTDOS 2018
