Special Needs Planning for Your Loved One with a Disability:
Government Benefits, Estate Planning & Funding Strategies
Families with children and other dependents with special needs, no matter what the age or disability, face many serious questions about how to best prepare for their future well-being.  This workshop addresses such critical issues as protecting & maximizing eligibility for certain government benefits along with the importance of creating Special Needs Trusts and other estate planning documents. It will also cover the added complexity of saving/planning for retirement with a special needs loved one in the picture and analyzing strategies for funding their in the most tax-efficient & creditor protected manners possible. Lastly, it will compare the newly enacted ABLE Act to alternative options for setting aside funds for individuals with disabilities.
