2. In the Event of a Fire Drill
Do not turn off the computers.
Be sure to push your chairs in when you are leaving. Why?
Leave quickly and carefully using the route your I have instructed you to use!
No Talking

3. In the Event of a Lock Down.
Proceed to the location designated by your computer teacher and sit quietly on the floor.
Your teacher will be locking the doors and covering the windows.
It is important that you sit quietly and follow instructions at this time.

4. Seat Assignments Every student will have an assigned seat.
Please come in quietly and sit in your assigned seat every time we have computers. 12

5. Respect the Lab Equipment
Do NOT touch the LCD monitors; they are very sensitive.
Do NOT bang on the keyboard or the mouse.
DO NOT pull the cables attached to the computers.
DO NOT un-plug any cable connected to the back of a computer, keyboard, mouse or network. If you have a problem, ask the teacher for help.
DO NOT attempt to repair anything.

6. Be Patient!
Remember there is only one of me and over 28 of you, so please BE PATIENT 
Put up your red cup and wait your turn and I will get to you as soon as I can!

Food, drinks or gum is NOT allowed in the labs.
Why?

8. Clean Computers make Happy Computers
This is a happy computer. All our computers are happy and clean. Please be kind to them.
Wash hands after eating and using the restroom; before coming into the lab

9. Computer Lab Rules Follow directions. Follow voice levels
Show respect.
Keep yourself and others safe.
Put up your red cup and wait to be called.

10. Respect Your Friends
Do not engage in unnecessary conversation, shouting or other disruptive behavior.
Work quietly
Keep your hands on your own computers!!

12. Internet Rules
Use only the specified websites and/or search engines for a project.
Do not go to websites that are unrelated to your schoolwork.
Do NOT access your account in the lab.
Do NOT use any instant messaging software.
Do not chat or visit chat rooms.
Do not copy from the Internet or use other people’s ideas as your own.
If you see something inappropriate, close the window and tell me. Do not giggle and tell your friends to come look.

Never come into the lab unless an adult is in the lab.
