2 Abstract: Hurricanes impact millions of lives each year in the Caribbean . Our project is heighten student awareness of hurricanes and the damage they inflict to our environment while reviewing and improving students graph interpretation skills, satellite and Globe data and how to study the weather. We explain to students that they are going to compare past storms and then decide which storm was the most damaging. Compare information from the different satellites that we have.

3 Introduction The Caribbean region can be suitable scenario for cutting edge meteorology and climatology research, this region are subjected to extreme atmospheric disturbances, mostly hurricanes. In Mexico the intensity of the hurricanes are less than Puerto Rico, in France hurricanes don’t form. The above mentioned conditions make the study of meteorology and climatology a challenge and a desire goal. Also the topics of weather and climate have be identified as a common ground were educators and students from Puerto Rico, France and Mexico can share research activities with mutual benefit.

4 France, so far away

5 Research Questions Why the hurricanes are not success in France and success in the Caribbean? What are the necessary conditions to get a storm, like a hurricanes? What are the differences between Caribbean Hurricanes and Mexico Hurricanes?

6 Materials Method *Meteorological Stations *Globe data
*Satellite data ( Cloudsat, NOAA) *Historical data *Camera Others weather data Method *Collect and find data about weather of the three countries and compare. *The students graphs containing historical data of hurricanes.

9 Data Summary/Analysis and Results
We analyzed and interpreted data, identify answerable questions and conduct scientific investigation in hurricanes, using the appropriate mathematics to analyzed data develop descriptions and predictions using evidence. Communicate procedures, descriptions and predictions. Parameters to analyzed: Temperature, Precipitation, Geography, Topography. A well organized report, we justified the answers of our questions with the data that we using in this project. The results we be reported between schools in Mexico, France and Puerto Rico also AIM- Globe.

10 Discussion The barriers that we may be have are the distance between the schools, the information that we need to access, the limit of resources in the schools and the different methods of teaching between teachers.
