4 AB 194 70% of youth in foster care want to go to college, but,
20% actually do go on to college, and, Only about 2-3% graduate with a college degree. This bill provides priority registration for classes to foster youth in California's public colleges and universities. For more information, check WordPress.

8 RCC/MVC Activities: Maintaining relationship with Workforce Prep/Cal-Works Counselors at respective colleges Mosaic Scholars have a direct connection to Counseling, EOPS, DSPS, ILP, Workforce Development/Preparation/CTE/ CalWORKs Counselors provide copies of completed Education Plans to Mentors upon request with no limit to requests madeMentors began keeping files on active CCP youth. Files contain: Student Info Sheet (adapted from Santa Rosa) Student Success survey Current class schedule Student DataTel™ printout of class grades, GPA
