2 Requirements GMC: need to be appraised in all roles
Format differs between programmes slightly Northumbria and Durham & Tees broadly similar Peer appraisal encouraged for 2:3 years with face to face appraisal with a TPD done just before reappointment which is every 3 years New trainers get face to face appraisal for first 2 years @NHS_HealthEdEng

Agree what you will discuss and pre meeting work There is a suggested menu to pick from Agree a date and venue Inform the Training Programme of these details @NHS_HealthEdEng

Share with Peer Add subsequent reflections Send final versions to Scheme Job done! Often this is offered at the Educators Conference as a workshop @NHS_HealthEdEng

9 Checklist Be able to outline the developmental needs/PDP from the last 3 Trainer Appraisals (One to One/Peer) and progress to meeting them Evidence for Equality and Diversity in the last 3 years List the last 4 Trainer Workshops/Groups attended and specific Learning Outcomes Summarise Learning Outcomes from Educational Conferences and other Sources since last Reappointment Premises Accreditation … any changes including IT Systems @NHS_HealthEdEng
