Paper size for correspondence in the United States is typically 8.5 by 11 inches. Correspondence in most foreign countries is often formatted on metric-sized paper. The most popular of these is called A4 paper.

International Addresses in Letters: The most technologically efficient formats for international addresses will be used, including the use of all-caps and the name of the country spelled out as the last entry of the address

11 Dot-style telephone numbers
In the United States, hyphens are used in telephone number. A Hyphen is used after the 3-digit area code and after the first 3 digits of the telephone number. Ex: Another format used in other countries, is to replace the hyphens with periods without spaces. Ex:

Special access are needed to make a phone call from one country to another. To make an international call, dial the IDD (international Direct Dialing) code first. Then dial the country code for the country you are calling, next the area code. An finally the telephone number. Ex:
