Develop and begin the execution of an applied public health/workplace health research agenda

7. WHRN Research Agenda Objectives
Further our understanding of the individual employee and organizational strategies for effective workplace health programs
Identify, design, and test interventions that promote health at work
Translate research into sustainable worksite-based programs in communities throughout the nation

8. WHRN Working Groups
Capacity and Dissemination: This working group, led by Sherry Baron, will assess the capacity of employers to deliver workplace health promotion and safety programs and disseminate best practices in workplace health and safety.
Employee: This working group, led by Naoko Muramatsu, will focus on the employee and health promotion programs for hard to reach or underserved employee populations.
Tools and Resource: This working group, led by Jean Abraham, will research resources and develop tools that small to medium sized employers can use to spread evidence-based practices.
