2. Child & Youth Program Family Camp
Opportunities are for families who are interested in connecting through games, adventure and the unique opportunities that the state has to provide.
Example: Overnight Camps are facilitated at various locations throughout Oregon, from the Evergreen Aviation and Space Museum to the Oregon Coast Aquarium.

Training event for youth within the state/territory.
Generally 3-5 day event
Can be held in conjunction with State Family Readiness Conference
Youth placed on Travel Orders
Leadership/Resilience Training around a theme
State Teen Panel helps plan event: Theme, Goals, Activities
Example:
Three Day Weekend Event – Friday Evening – Sunday Afternoon
Parent/Guardian attends to provide overnight supervision & mitigate risk
Themes: Quest for Courage, Masters of Disasters (Emergency Prep), Face Everything and Rise

7. Child & Youth Program Hot Topics Program Eligibility ANG Youth
Available for school-aged eligible dependents of ARNG Service Members and offers a range of positive activities designed to promote resilience, healthy development, and ease transition into adulthood. Supports prevention initiatives that mitigate at-risk behaviors.
ANG Youth
Teen Panel: ANG youth delegates may participate on the State Teen Panel if sponsored, supported, and funded by the owning Wing and Airman and Family Readiness Program Manager
Other CYSS Programs: Relevant Air National Guard (ANG) funding is used to support ANG youth participation in CYSS program events. LCYPC should coordinate with the Airmen & Family Readiness Program Manager (A&FRPM) prior to an event/activity to determine funding requirements and availability. Services may be provided to ANG members and their Families if the cost of providing that support is incidental to the cost of the program AND allowed by current state/territory guidance.
