The emphasis is problem solving and explaining/justifying work- not just getting the final answer but how you arrived at your final answer
More open-ended performance tasks and mathematical, structured proofs in addition to practicing basic skills.

6. Retake Policy Unit Tests only Maximum score: 80%
Retake score will replace original score

7. Extra Help and Tutoring
Free tutoring Monday-Thursday, 3pm – 4pm in Room 399 with a SMHS math teacher
Free tutoring Monday-Thursday, 3pm-6pm in room 305 for all subjects
We are available on an ask-basis
