Zero conditional simple present + simple present
Natural laws: If you boil water, it turns to steam. Habitual reaction: If I have an allergy crisis, I go to Dr. Kennedy.

First conditional simple present+ future tense/imperative/may-must
Probable conditional If my sister-in-law comes to live in my house, I will ask her to help me. If you want to buy a perfume, go to Paraguay. If you cough on your hands, you must put some alcohol on them. If your birthday is today, I may give you a lollipop.

Negative form of the 1st conditional
I won’t forgive my husband if he doesn’t plant my sunflowers field this year. If you don’t want to get too fat, don’t eat too much. I’m going to Argentina this weekend, so if you call me, I may not answer you. If you don’t want to appear on “Tribuna da Massa”, you mustn’t do anything wrong.

Second conditional simple past+ would+ base form of the verb
Improbable condition If I had more money, I would buy another house. If I knew what you wanted, I could help you. I wouldn’t date him if I were you. He’s with a different girl every day. What would you do if you were bitten by a snake?
