You can create one for your parent, you just need their social security number Use your Muchin Click on “show text” to ensure you are entering the password you want to use – Try to use same password you used for your naviance or common app to make it easy to remember! Immediately put FSA ID username & password into naviance journal entry! – This will be a grade!

MANDATORY FAFSA Workshop: Saturday, October 14 (10am-2pm) This will be a 100 point assignment in Collegiate Seminar 2nd FAFSA Workshop: Tuesday, October 17th 5-7pm in 702 MANDATORY for football players & cheerleaders who cannot come to Oct. 14th meeting due to football game **Talk to counselor about first 2 colleges you should be applying to** Scholars must: Apply to one college via the common app Apply to one college that is a match or safety school (This should be a school that has been discussed with counselor)

17 Important Things to Keep in Mind when Completing FAFSA
Double check to ensure ALL the info you type in is CORRECT . This is especially important for your SSN. Incorrect information can prevent you from getting award letters later in the year! Are you interested in being considered for work-study? - Click “yes” to the question Put you “save key” into your naviance journal entry

If you do not remember this you WILL NOT be able to access your FAFSA to add schools or make corrections!

19 Other Important Things to Note
What degree or certificate will you be working on when you begin the school year? – Choose “1st bachelor’s degree” What is the name of your high school?– Choose Noble Street Charter Schools Always, Always, ALWAYS click on the button so your work isn’t deleted! No one should be filing as an independent. If you think you should file as independent OR if you are an STLS student please see myself or Mr. Farrand ASAP! **If you forget anything, remember class slides are ALWAYS on the homework wiki!**

Click on school you want to add. Click on “add.” **ANY school you apply to MUST be added to the FAFSA!
