Criteria for Admission to the University of Utah School of Medicine
MCAT GPA Research Community/Volunteer Service Leadership Physician Shadowing Patient Exposure If you meet our criteria, you are very competitive to other medical schools!!! Need to be minimum in all 7, and be average or above average in at least 5 High MCAT example

How can I have AWESOME Letters of Recommendation?
Cultivate relationships with professors, supervisors, and mentors Our requirements: 4 total letters 2 academic letters 1 must be from a science professor 2 supervisor letters Community/volunteer service OR Patient Exposure Research OR “Other” – can be from employer, coach, military leader, etc. Problems: Wrong name/gender, applying to law school, LOR talked about how applicant grew up as a neighbor, wanted s/he to be part of the family and told childhood stories
